Help. I am in deep do-do here

I woke up and found myself in a terrible situation. Need help desperately.

My name is Wally. I have been married to my wife for 3 years. Up until July 5th, I had no idea she was planning to desert me. Sunday she did, but had told me she just wanted a break and would be back in as little as 2 weeks. I had no contact with her during her trip to Virginia on Monday.

Tuesday I woke up to some posts on her FaceBook page where she had changed her profile to single. I tried to get her to call me, or to accept my calls, but she refused. To get to the point, she told me and posted on her FB page that she was never coming back, and that she wanted me, Wally Dow to leave her alone.

I am 68 years old and have been a professional guitarist and performer all of my life. In the summer of 2008 I started making the rounds looking for work, and jamming at every jam session I heard of. I got a PA system together (Gone now) so I could just make moves to start my own band while I was simultaneously flat out looking for a job in an established band that paid fair and at least enough to supplement my income so we could have a better life. She was openly against me being a musician, which is at 68 the only thing I can do without suffering from old age problems with my legs arms and feet. I have RA really bad. BUT ... I can still play. Now ...

When she left me she took the only car we had, leaving me in the middle of an orange grove trailer park at least 7 miles from the nearest store. No way to get out now and try to find work so I can afford things like food, clothing, laudry, etc. I own all of the furnishing in this trailer, but most of my stuff is old and was bought back in 1999 - 2006. I have a motorcycle but it has a leaky carburator and is unsafe to ride, and I cannot work on it because there is no place here for me to work on it under cover and out of any inclement weather. Also, I have cataracts in my eyes that make it hard to focus on anything within 3 feet of my eyes.

My plea is this. I am used to working and getting myself what I need. But Social Security is not enough to pay all of the bills and buy groceries (I do not eat a lot), least of all a used van.

I really don't like asking for help or handouts, but this time it is either do that to survive or just die.
