Dear American Atheists group, I am so sorry to hear that in your lawsuit regarding the 9-11 cross that as a result of "having to look at it", that your members "feel depression, headaches, anxiety, mental pain and anguish from the knowledge that you are made to feel officially excluded from the ranks of citizens who were directly injured by the 9-11 attacks." Do you also feel that way when you visit the National Holocaust Museum and see a Star of David, or pass a mosque in NYC and see the Crescent symbol? Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ♥♥Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Shame on you....people of all nationalities and religions were lost to us on 9-11 and all should be represented. The cross, uncovered two days after the horrific attack became a symbol of hope, love, solidarity and community, dare I say, to all regardless of their faith or lack there of. Just one question, what the heck do you want as a symbol for the atheists - do you have one? I don't know.....leave the cross alone!
