My blizzard story. ---This is the year my daughter, Hillary, was born. We lived in Copenhagen NY. The snow belt of upstate NY. Griffis airforce base used rotary plows to open the roads. We dumped gallons of milk because the milk trucks couldn't get through to empty the bulk tanks. Helicopters dropped food and medicine to standard homes. We had to climb 7 ft snow drifts in the driveway to get to the barn to milk the cows. When we reached the barn we had to shovel down in the snow to reach the milkhouse door. The snow was as high as the barn roof. Heather and Hillary were content in the barn, in their playpen and baby swing. We had 2 great kids, Pam and Robert, that worked as hard as any hired man. And together, with God's grace, we survived the blizzard.
