In response to your email: I'm wondering if this site is suggesting that we move towards greater separation from each other by creating borders within our borders. 

When this idea is thought through, the picture it creates is bleak for the 99%.

In a time when we need each other more than ever to become what we, as humans, CAN become, "taking our ball and going home" is a poor response to a national crisis like the one we're experiencing. "We can do it" isn't just an old union slogan, it's a truth about us as creators and a body of man. 

I, personally, trust and believe in God and a strong spiritual life. To that part of me, this seems horribly wrong. To my emotional self, it seems a reaction based on fear and to my intellectual self, it's a cop out at best.

Let's put our energies to building what right. Since I could easily go on writing for the rest of my life about what's F'd up about this country and society, it's a far more productive use of time and energy to take my understanding of the issues and work the solutions...to BE the solutions for a my family, my community, my state AND my country.

Thanks for the email Pam. I respect and admire the way you fight the good fight.
