Eating a healthy heart diet without saturated fats is especially important for your heart health. Another major cause of congestive heart failure is the abuse of alcohol. Used in moderation, alcohol can actually be beneficial, but repeated abuse and alcoholism are directly linked with heart failure. These are all things that are completely under your control and with a few lifestyle changes you will find yourself at a reduced risk of developing this deadly disease.
Congestive heart failure treatment is available and in some cases can extend your life considerably. There are medications available to treat congestive heart failure including medicines forhigh blood pressure. Diet and exercise are an essential part of your congestive heart failure treatment.
