In a frightening example of how the state is tightening its grip around the free Internet, it has emerged that You Tube is complying with thousands of requests from governments to censor and remove videos that show protests and other examples of citizens simply asserting their rights, while also deleting search terms by government mandate.

The latest example is You Tube’s compliance with a request from the British government to censor footage of the British Constitution Group’s Lawful Rebellion protest, during which they attempted to civilly arrest Judge Michael Peake at Birkenhead county court.

Peake was ruling on a case involving Roger Hayes, former member of UKIP, who has refused to pay council tax, both as a protest against the government’s treasonous activities in sacrificing Britain to globalist interests and as a result of Hayes clearly proving that council tax is illegal.

Hayes has embarked on an effort to legally prove that the enforced collection of council tax by government is unlawful because no contract has been agreed between the individual and the state. His argument is based on the sound legal principle that just like the council, Hayes can represent himself as a third party in court and that “Roger Hayes” is a corporation and must be treated as one in the eyes of the law.

The British government doesn’t want this kind of information going viral in the public domain because it is scared stiff of a repeat of the infamous poll tax riots of 1990, a massive tax revolt in the UK that forced the Thatcher government to scrap the poll tax altogether because of mass civil disobedience and refusal to pay.

When viewers in the UK attempt to watch videos of the protest, they are met with the message, “This content is not available in your country due to a government removal request.”

We then click through to learn that, “YouTube occasionally receives requests from governments around the world to remove content from our site, and as a result, YouTube may block specific content in order to comply with local laws in certain countries.”

You can also search by country to discover that Google, the owner of You Tube, has complied with the majority of requests from governments, particularly in the United States and the UK, not only to remove You Tube videos, but also specific web search terms and thousands of “data requests,” meaning demands for information that would reveal the true identity of a You Tube user. Google claims that the information sent to governments is “needed for legitimate criminal investigations,” but whether these “data requests” have been backed up by warrants is not divulged by the company.

“Between July 1 and Dec. 31 (2009), Google received 3,580 requests for user data from U.S. government agencies, slightly less than the 3,663 originating from Brazil,” reports PC World. “The United Kingdom and India sent more than 1,000 requests each, and smaller numbers originated from various other countries.”

With regard to search terms, one struggles to understand how a specific combination of words in a Google search can be considered a violation of any law. This is about government and Google working hand in hand to manipulate search results in order to censor inconvenient information, something which Google now freely admits to doing.

You Tube’s behavior is more despicable than the Communist Chinese, who are at least open about their censorship policies, whereas You Tube hides behind a blanket excuse and doesn’t even say what law has been broken.

Anyone who swallows the explanation that the videos were censored in this case because the government was justifiably enforcing a law that says scenes from inside a court room cannot be filmed is beyond naive. Court was not even in session in the protest footage that was removed, and the judge had already left the courtroom.

The real reason for the removal is the fact that the British government is obviously petrified of seeing a group of focused and educated citizens, black, white, old and young, male and female, go head to head with the corrupt system on its own stomping ground.

In their efforts to keep a lid on the growing populist fury that has arrived in response to rampant and growing financial and political tyranny in every sector of society, governments in the west are now mimicking Communist Chinese-style Internet censorship policies in a bid to neutralize protest movements, while hypocritically lecturing the rest of the world on maintaining web freedom.

Via a combination of cybersecurity legislation and policy that is hastily introduced with no real oversight, governments and large Internet corporations are crafting an environment where the state can simply demand information be removed on a whim with total disregard for freedom of speech protections.

This was underscored last year at the height of the Wikileaks issue, when Amazon axed Wikileaks from its servers following a phone call made by Senator Joe Lieberman’s Senate Homeland Security Committee demanding the website be deleted.

Lieberman has been at the forefront of a push to purge the Internet of all dissent by empowering Obama with a figurative Internet kill switch that he would use to shut down parts of the Internet or terminate websites under the guise of national security. Lieberman spilled the beans on the true reason for the move during a CNN interview when he stated “Right now China, the government, can disconnect parts of its Internet in case of war and we need to have that here too.”

Except that China doesn’t disconnect the Internet “in case of war,” it only ever does so to censor and intimidate people who express dissent against government atrocities or corruption, as we have documented. This is precisely the kind of online environment the British and American governments are trying to replicate as they attempt to put a stranglehold on the last bastion of true free speech – the world wide web.

Youtube has kowtowed to many different groups requests of censorship ever since its inception. Everthing from $cientology to governments and law enforcement. This is nothing new. If you want something to stay up use rutube and imbed the video somewhere. As of yet we have had no video pulled from there. They isn’t afraid of anything.

The importance of street protests are overrated anyway. Gathering in public for a few hours while holding signs and chanting messages barely reported by the media has not and will not change virtually anything.

Grass-roots activists quietly getting alternative information to an uninformed public and compelling them to act collectively in positive ways will create more lasting results.

I agree with you about the futility of most parading, although it does help to raise local awareness somewhat. Yet information is not as lacking as most people believe. It’s out there, and most people are at least minimally aware of it. But they deny it and argue for their own enslavement. It used to be when bad things were brought to the public attention it caused change. But that is mostly no longer the case, because people are not acting on the information even when they receive it.

The only power the people have is what MLK used – boycotts. Don’t use the services and products, don’t pay the taxes or meet the obligations, and watch how fast they change their tune. For example, limit use of fed currency and use local alternatives more. Don’t buy from corporations that poison your food. Don’t tune into media that lies to you, regardless of your curiosity. Engage diversity and conscious choice. This is where power lies – it’s more in what you DON’T do, DON’T participate in, and DON’T subscribe to. This does require inconvenience and even suffering at times, but some of that will be required if you want your world to improve.

People say they want change, but they aren’t willing TO change, and that doesn’t work.

First look who owned and who own youtube. But it is a great resource. I concede that the expected assault on the First Amendment is on… because we are having a very important effect. The concern is that too much focus is on Alex and inforwars etc. .

We KNOW THE MOVES TO COME AS IN THE TAKE DOWN OF THE FIRST AMENDMENT. Should not that be our focus for concerted action?

All forms of protest are important. The idea that we should cede any form of protest as ineffectualy or below our regard, as in street protest… or any legal action is suspicious.

I am not accousing you here BUT

Anyone can see that on this sight there are now attemps to divert action… and bend the information here… they take the form of:

1. Religious reference to the Book of Revelation… this centralizes Israel and the tribal group that now controls it and that is also apparently central to the Banking Cartel and its recent at least… historical actions, including formenting World Wars. And provides actuates Christian Zionist programing.
2. Calls to how our manhood is suspect by any protest that is not ‘direct.’ Oh really?… How do we know first… who and what you are? These are veiled calls to violence which at this point… would be exactly what the enemy wants and bring in the attenuation of the First Amendment.

This site is about many things but its name defines it well… the insight that information and propaganda IS the central place of engagement in the USA.

3. The increasingly… disturbing release of information by those highly compromised in my view… Like Dr. Steve Pieczenik. I will post on what I think of the man’s inner conflicts… soon and I can not assert that he is an intelligence operative at this point… BUT he was… and old habits die hard.

4. There are attempts in the comments section of this site to bend information. For instance again Steve Pieczenik… who says that yes 9/11 was an intelligence operation… but WE that is his group… would not have done it… although he would do it in another country etc. .

This BENDS us to the idea that patriotism still can have something to do with the CIA IF only the RIGHT people were again… in charge etc. .

5. Use of military names in postings to give gravitas… let’s stay to our perspectives only and give no one much credit for their own accomplishments until we meet them in person.

6. And… a very strange lack of Jewish protest at what would be called anti-Semitic reflexively anywhere else. Even though most of us who state the obvious… are just trying to break the programed taboo as much as anything.

Number 6… just occurred to me by the way… as a ‘tell’… that is… a site or information is to a degree… being promoted or used by… Israel or the CIA… and we can be see that… by WHAT IS NOT… on the comments… page ALSO.

Where are all of the Jews calling individuals here racists? Do you see what I mean?

We should ask ourselves why that is.

I have suggested that this site provides a controllable corralled area on the Internet that too is a LAB… for perturbing and bending this movement… as happened with the Tea Party. The difference is that the “Tea Party” was likely an intelligence operation from the beginning. Although the first protests at state capitals… were largely spontaneous.

You tube is not the only video upload service, try megaupload, or just google for more places to place/upload your video. alternatively, you could run a server directly from a slaved home machine to serve your video, until someone with some bandwidth can offer to either serve your file, or you do find someplace to upload it to. they’re trying to dig a moat around a wildfire, but there’s a strong hot wind everytime they speak. radio silence would be their best bet at this point, as anything they say only insults the masses and further drives this revolution.

I don’t like that “run elsewhere” attitude.

Eventually you will run out of space and the globalists will take you like a ripe fruit. They will smoke you out of your safe place with a combination of the Police State, HAARP and nuclear fallouts.

A better attitude would be to get together and face the tyranny head on.

The hardest part to accomplish is the “GET TOGETHER” part.

I disagree. Most modern problems stem from a lack of diversity – mega-corporations that control all media, etc. The more we spread the wealth, attention, and power around the better. This is far more powerful than trying to defeat a single source. Controlling others’ behavior is never very feasible. Making choices is powerful.

It reminds me of the different approaches to censorship. Some, when they hear something they don’t like, try to censor the source. Others believe in freedom of expression, and instead of seeking to silence the source, merely inform others of what they think about the issue. They add to the conversation rather than trying to subtract from it – which is effectively impossible.

You are trying to control and censor Youtube, which is weak. You don’t control Youtube. But no one says you have to limit yourself to it. Move on. Support and encourage more open alternatives.

no i disagree with you both, tom and Bible. Decentralize. you want to put out everything on youtube, but that gives up a target, and then you’re flustered. Like i said, the best option is to serve the video yourself. become completely independent, then drop the link to your video or embed it anywhere you wish. Its the same thing essentially, but you wont get suggested by you tube or be in their ranking, but really, do you give a sh!t about that? If so you should care less about your ranking and just focus on generating true traffic, which by its nature is spreading the information. comment on youtube videos with your link even, so you still co-opt some of their traffic. Keep in mind, if ppl stop focusing on it, and become more decentralized and diversified its harder to control, and add on top of that the decreased amount of traffic you tube will have. PPl always forget the power of choice, specifically where you put your money into. you shop at walmart, you support walmart. You use youtube, you support its censoring nature. Become independent. Use facebook to spread your links to videos you are serving. srsly, think for a minute.

You’re right… the goals are not complex.

We demand to live our lives as we choose and take the consequences and promote and protect that right for others is simple enough.

Thanks for being up to the task of reality. Some of the posters above provide the argument for an evolving outdated constitution. The TRUTH is the same from day to day and never changes. Yes technology has changed the game. It has not changed the rules however. By this I mean the main Battle Field is in the mind and as such WAR is won in the Hearts of men, it’s also lost there. See Sun Tzu’s “The Art Of Warfare” and you will find that the Battle is won or lost before entering the battle field.

You all know the above is true from fights early in your life. You knew whether you were going to win a fight with Billy before the first punch was thrown and so did Billy.

Google has an active team that censors the news without any prompting from government. Proof is that search terms that bring page one results in regular searches for news stories do NOT come up at all when you do a news search for the same terms. Duh, Google minions, at least they still let you find it in general search. Soon they will scrap that too and try to leave us back in the dark completely. Google IS the government, or at least that same portion of secret ‘government’ that controls much of this world.

Modern day governments are little more than PR organizations partly responsible for executing the commands of their dark sith lords. They are designed to take the heat, which is why they are so unaffected by public interests. Videos of protesters protesting is the least of their YouTube worries. I do suspect this is the case. I have seen a few articles that suggested the CIA has funded several Google research and development projects. Don’t forget about the Google Earth surveillance drones that were exposed about this time last year, funded by a group known to be a CIA front (if memory serves correctly, have the link saved somewhere). The CEO claimed it was just a personal pet project. Or remember the slap on the hand that Google got for downloading and storing packets of information received from unsecured networks via their Google Earth cars. It’s murky legal territory, but I think the courts ultimately ruled that it is no crime to download unsecured information. What they were doing with it, no one really knows. Probably handed over to fusion centers for analysis?

I have no idea what people are so upset about here. Some are acting as if Google and Youtube are the only damn search engines and video sharing sites out there. My gosh, I’m not computer savy even and I know how to get around these moronic sites to find what I’m looking for.

AD, you said that you can’t find The 29 Palms Survey. Well I just used scroogle.org, and it was the tops search and many under it. I haven’t used google in ages, and never really did use it! There are other video sites also as others have mentioned.

I also have had where a video is blocked in Canada happen to me last year. That would just make me look for it elsewhere if I really wanted to see it.

Bigpharma, my only rebuttal to your post is one of my own, and stems from my personal reaction to the story. That is, that yes- I am aware of alt. engines and media sites and I for one do utilize them. The point is, that you shouldn’t presume in an across-the-board kind of way…that people are “panicking”. Just engaging in dialogue.

As I see it, there is nothing whatsoever wrong with a natural and human reaction to another liberty stolen. What’s the problem with that? I see none at all. In fact, I see it as a correcting defense mechanism to the complacency that presides in too many people today. I see it as healthy and fine; no harm to anyone at all. I believe the true danger lies within the concept of complacency and silence itself. As you refer to -”the sheeple”. It is their apathy that is the characteristic proving to be the most unproductive and dangerous to other fellow human beings in general.

Don’t be offended. Just my opinion. And in defense of my own original comments too.

I didn’t say I couldn’t find the 29 Palms Survey you’ll find it that way I said I couldn’t find “29 palms would you shoot Americans citizens quiz” which it what it commonly known as. 29 Palms Survey is what I came up with to get around the censorship.

In any case I use startingpage generally for searches it all so returns no results.

I think the point is that the overwhelming preponderance of people who use alt search sites are very likely the same people that are already “turned on”. It’s preaching to the choir. Google and YouTube have an infinitely larger footprint, and the ability to reach far greater numbers of people who really need the info. People who have to go on a wild goose chase for alt media likely won’t.

Well I find it odd that no one on this site that I’ve seen so far, has mentioned that the FEMA site posted awhile ago that those millions of meals contract was cancelled. At least they were last time I looked. I don’t know what his means, but that is what the site said for the bidding page.

Hi Vic. Extremely off-topic, but not “crazy” at all. In fact, morbid as the imagery is- I would render to say that in fact, the deplorable truth is likely something of this order…do you know that in Brazil, there are many many homeless children that find it easier to sniff glue than to steal food? The glue suppresses their incessant hunger. There are many who also prostitute themselves to survive as well. There are many who – as you say…disappear without a trace never to be seen again. The reason? There are many. It is a little known fact, thanks to our wonderful media…that there is not only a vital organ transplant black market bank, but also a sex-slave trade globally.

I see no reason, that given the completely macabre nature of said activities, that one should presume that sacrifice and cannibalism is not the end result. After all, the British “royals’ are descendents of Vlad himself, no? Yes, these types of realities do exist, make no mistake. It’s just not reported upon much. Despicable at best.

Not only that, but there is a HUGE amount of force applied to so-called ‘science’, education, history, media, and finances to insure that humans believe eating meat is required and normal for them, when in fact it is poisonous on every level. This is done to make the ‘karma’ of humans vulnerable – when you abuse others, it makes it possible for you to be abused (on some level you must agree with everything that is done to you or it cannot be done, for you are Life itself). If humans stop abusing animals, it becomes much harder for they themselves to be treated like cattle. As the mathematician Pythagoras put it:
“For as long as men massacre animals, they will kill each other. Indeed, he who sows the seed of murder and pain cannot reap joy and love.”

Check out John Robbins book ‘Food Revolution’ for just a sample of how pressured and deceived people are to consume these foul poisons. It’s also a great book for learning about real nutrition – Robbins is a truly great man who walks his talk.

Hi xime. I am, among other things a former student of environmental civil engineering, and from that, I do know John Robbins personally. I acquired a great deal of “free” and sustainable energy knowledge from him for my research papers etc. He teaches courses also to non-enrollees of several universities/colleges.

I personally can not afford much of the only “safe-to-eat meat” that I would aspire to now and again, so that I find myself largely a vegetarian by insufficient funds default.

While I would tend to agree with your assertions here related to Karma in general, I am not thoroughly and altogether convinced that humans and animals do in fact have equivalence relative to the nature of their souls. If I am wrong, then may I return as animal to be consumed by a virtuous, poor and hungry family to nourish them. I would not be displeased whatsoever, in that I would have served a noble purpose in flesh form, and would eagerly await my next incarnation. My two cents.

@NoLongerNoble: I observed the tremendous forces in cultures devoted to keeping people on a meat/dairy diet, and the forces involved in ensuring that so-called ‘meat production’ is highly abusive – horrendous – factory farms are another form of genocidal Nazi practices. I also know in my own path (been vegan for almost 20 years) how my consuming meat affected my evolution – it has a karmic heaviness to it which binds one to certain levels of experience, particularly the experience one might call ‘victimhood’. I believe those who enslave mankind (and that includes some ETs) understand this process – it is quite a sophisticated program, and very dark.

Simply put, you are what you eat, and most people dine on murder and torture. IMO until people see this relationship they will only fall darker into their prison.

I just did a search on Youtube for “Lawful Rebellion Protest” and got loads of results so it seems that 1 video has been singled out for removal.

When one video is removed another shall appear or 10 more shall appear making it very difficult to enforce any kind of censorship and besides that change the titles of the videos again making it much more difficult to censor the videos.

And they have creative ways of blacklisting people as well, just check how you or your channel come through on a search.. especially after a disinformation troll flags you as posting something potentially offensive to the YT community, like calling them a… disinformation agent, calling someone a troll is practically an unpardonable offense. It’s ironic I just came from a video where one of the commenters was saying the most nastry 4-letter words about the video taker and a couple posters, bet they don’t get flagged…

But post just one video on HAARP and they have your number. especially if you are not an outright fanatic or crazoid. It makes you much scarier in their eyes.
