Hello there.. I'm Donna DeVane.. radio show host, website master, teacher, author and all round really nice person.

For years I've watched as our nation has changed, most of these changes are not good either.  If you are like me you see the higher prices and lower wages.  You realize that joblessness and homelessness are becoming ordinary experiences for many Americans who thought they had their dream in the making.  They didn't realize that it could all vanish in a few months due to the intentional de industrialization of America.

That's why I do the radio show.  I want to help people to feel that we can do something rather than just try to survive what's happening in our country and around the world.  We've got to stand up now, stand up for ourselves and for humanity in order to put a stop to the movement of control in our nation.

Even though I've written books, have a website and host a radio show.. I'm like a lot of Americans.  Today I find myself unable to pay my electric company and no one seems to be able to help.  You know all those agencies that people tell you to call?  Well I've called them.  They are as broke as I am it seems.

I was told earlier that the state a friend lives in isn't accepting any more food stamp applications.  What can we do?

I don't know how to help everyone. Today I am reminding people that you matter, that working together we can solve this.  I don't know each step we have to take, but I do know we have to start making changes.  We have to do more than just be angry and afraid.  We need to get smart and figure out how to help each other.
