This is my online "lab journal" presently containing a few simple projects based mostly upon re-purposed consumer electronics. The reader is advised these are as yet unproven techniques, presented solely for further discussion, and NOT to be replicated. The circuits and devices illustrated are representative only.

Depending upon locality, certain aerial transmissions may be prohibited by law due to potential radio frequency interference. For safety, none of the projects below utilize connection to the 110/240VAC grid. However, even 12VDC powered inverters and strobes may generate and store potentially hazardous output voltages.

Walkie Talkies One stated premise of this website is that radio frequency (RF) carriers are unduly complex. However, an upside of living in a wireless world is that there is an abundance of off-the-shelf transmitters to modify (legally) for obscure functionalities. The only disadvantage is that the carrier is (obviously) not optimized at known bio-resonant wavelengths. However, the rest is workable.

An example is license-free walkie talkies, which operate in the region of 460-470MHz; very high indeed. Online cost is $20 to $30 per pair. There are two varieties, digital FSK, and the more common analog FM. The latter is required for the purpose at hand. In compensation for the absence of a dedicated bioactive emitter, conventional dipolar RF can offer greater signal density/impact. Remember that the specified unobstructed range, usually around 10 miles for this price point, is for communications. For entrainment, the device would be kept close at hand.

The modification is to bypass the voice microphone, and feed an ELF-modulated audio signal directly to the input stage. Given the appropriate signal level, the external "mic" socket, if any, could also be used. A common problem with walkie-talkies is that they do not transmit continuously, but switch off after a set time, usually 60 seconds. Therefore the transmission has to be repeatedly re-triggered with an auxilliary circuit, as shown in the images below. FM Transmitters

A similar solution is a miniature "spy" transmitter, assembled or in kit form. Range is usually specified as 100-300M. Since no matching receiver is to be used with it, the intricate tuning process is circumvented. A commercially assembled equivalent is the type of home-use transmitter dsigned for wireless headphones or video links. The left unit looks more robust, but the right, available from Canakit, adjusts from 88-108MHz and has a ready-made line input.

A thought to consider. Given the relative ease of implementation, and vast array of possible transmission sources, is it possible the broadcast bands are already filled with intentional psychoactive signals? For more on this visit our companion Mind Control website.

The next three projects, demonstrate access to the ultrasonic band, slightly above audio but well below the technicallly problematic RF band.

Motor Speed Control The above FM (actually PWM) circuit is sold in kit form as illustrated above. By applying an ELF to the control voltage input terminals, the ultrasonic carrier can be made to vary in pulse width accordingly. In line with the intended purpose, a high current power stage is already conveniently on-board, usually with its necessary heatsink. The output is taken between D2 and T2; an oscilloscope being essential to adjust. Similar kits use the TL494 regular. Since there is no incorporated antenna, a bifilar coil and current limiting resistor must be added for transmission.

Dog Silencer Yes, that is what they are sold for, but this kit circuit can form the basis for a high power ultrasonic transmitter. The version shown even has on-board adjustments for the carrier and modulation frequency. Their range is particularly useful, the latter being right in the entrainment-specific, ELF ball park. The included tweeters are substituted with preferred emitters and high wattage, 12 or 16 Ohm load-compensating series resistor. The resulting "damped" waveform is a bit harsh, but proves the point. It can also be stepped up with a suitably rated transformer, and applied to the type of capacitive plates illustrated on the Shape Shifting page.

Fluorescent Inverters These are typically sourced as a kit set, or salvaged from commercial 12V camping, automotive lanterns, or uninstalled emergency exit signs. The output frequency, usually on the order of tens of KHz, is preset by an oscillator that drives a step-up transformer. This generates 200-300VAC, sufficient to ignite a small fluorescent tube, usually around 8 Watts. Another possibility is the circuit board from a 12VDC compact fluorescent lamp. For safety reasons, 110/240V powered versions should NOT be hacked.

Simple 6-12W Inverter Circuit Diagram Simple 20W Inverter Another option is a Tesla coil, available in kit form, or as a "violet ray" instrument. Be sure the latter is rated for continuous use. A wide range of circuit diagrams for "similar" high frequency, HV, low current power supplies is also available on the net. A few examples are, 1) miniature inverters for "cold cathode" tubes, 2) the classic "flyback" driver, based upon a HV transformer from a CRT, and 3) Kirlian camera power supplies.

Some designs offer adjustable frequency, while inverters sold for "show lighting" effects in cars, or decorative plasma balls, have a built in sound modulation circuit. However, these are the exception. The majority are not easy to modify, so their best implementation is "as is", ie. to energize form-resonant antennae. In other words, as described on the Shape Shifting page, the geometry IS the tuning. Yet another off-the-shelf solution: a $15 USB-powered plasma ball.

Form Resonance Antenna Here is an example of the aforementioned principle, derived from a rock carving, photographed by the Author, in Languedoc Province, Southern France. The design can be easily fabricated from brass brazing rod, or stiff bare copper wire. It is attributed to the peace-loving, Cathar "heretical" sect that was prominent in the area during the 1200's, prior to being eradicated by the established church.

Close examination reveals a remarkable fusion of symbols from no less than five religions, 1) cross - Christian, 2) ankh - Egyptian/Coptic, 3) center-referenced solar disk - "pagan" masculine, 4) lunar crescent - "pagan" feminine, and 5) hexagram, or seal of Solomon/Hermes - Kabbalistic. All relate to the transcendent union of spirit and matter.

The righthand image, from the Alchemical text, "Hermaphrodite Child of the Sun and Moon", displays a similar combination of elements.

In practice, one wire of the inverter output would be attached to the base, with the other connected to a "reference plane", or similarly sized, rectangular sheet of bare conductive metal, placed a short distance away.

Information Unlimited High Voltage Ignition Coil Supply

Strobe Lamp Worth mentioning if only for their raw power, strobe circuits generate a high current spike to ignite an xenon gas tube. A low resistance, bifilar emitter coil can be energized by wiring it in series with the latter. The repetition rate, intended for an emergency signal, or stop-frame photography, is typcially adjustable across the ELF range. This rather simplistic configuration again highlights the relevance of waveform to the "feel" of the transmitted wave. In this case, its sharpness is a bit "driving" and suitable only for Beta-type aroused states, as opposed to relaxation.
