But first it's alleged, "Herein is the true story of Kelly Wilkinson and her two male companions murdered by the Khmer Rouge guerrillas, the original name Saloth Sar Khmer political communist leader Pol Pot.

At the time' Gareth Evans was the Australian Foreign Affairs Minister for the Liberal Party, who had refused to allow Kelly Wilkinson family to pay the $100,000 ransom required for the safe release of the three captives of Pol Pot's regime. Gareth Evans knew the reputation of the Khmer Rough and that all three would be killed if the ransom was not paid, but no, Gareth Evans chose to play politics and stopped the $100,000 from been paid for their safe release; instead Evans told the Khmer Rouge to hold their fire, with that, all three were killed because of his ignorance or absolute stupidity. Kelly Wilkinson and her two friends would be alive today, had Gareth Evans not interfered in those negotiation for their safe release. 

The then Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser 1975 to 1983 brought the Liberal Party into disrepute when his government gave financial support for Pol Pot's regime of some $10 million dollars. Pol Pot from 1975 to 1997 caused at lease one million deaths in Cambodia's killing fields from forced labor, starvation, disease, torture, or execution, they were ruthless.

Pol Pot was prime minister of the new Khmer Rough government from 1976 until he was overthrown by invading Vietnamese in January 1979.
