In a SouthMilwaukeeNow.com article dated June 14 and entitled, 'Italian Court Rules MMRVaccine Caused Autism: US Media Blacks Out Story,' author Kristan Harris writes about theItalian court that ruled in favor of the Bocca family whose nine-year-old son became autistic after receiving the MMR (Measles/Mumps & Rubella) vaccine. He writes, "...the vaccine debate has been a hot topic here lately. Although the case concluded in 2012, the information is just as relevant today."

In 2004, when Valentino Bocca was 15 months old, he was given the MMR vaccine. Immediately after the shot, he began showing signs of serious discomfort. The Bocca family took the case to court and judges determined that the vaccine caused his autism. The Bocca family was awarded 174,000 euro after theItalian Health Ministry conceded the MMR vaccine caused autism in their nine-year-old son Valentino. Harris writes that, "After the ruling, Italian lawyers began examining around 100 similar cases which they believe could lead to more families pursuing court cases."

Dr. Andrew Wakefield has published 20 papers on vaccine-induced bowel disorder. All were peer reviewed, and only one has been retracted. The19 papers that were not retracted, however, are ever discussed in the media. The only study that the US mainstream media focuses is the retracted Lancet article from 1998. Interestingly enough and since that study, a large number of replication studies have been performed around the world, by other researchers, that confirm Wakefield’s findings form the retracted study. Thinking critically, one might wonder why one never heard about this in the US mainstream media.
