UN scrutinizing Detroit after city shuts off water to thousands

The UN is considering providing assistance to Detroit residents who are having their water turned off by the bankrupt city. This spring, the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department sent 45,000 shut-off notices to customers with unpaid bills. The department has only stopped service to a few thousand of the residents, but human rights groups are outraged at the situation many residents are being forced into. Ameera David discusses the issue with RT's Meghan Lopez, who is in Detroit and spoke to city representatives.
