Hamid Karzai basically came out and said that if the US invades Pakistan that Afghanistan will support Pakistan. Hamid Karzai's realizing that even though he is a "friend" of the United States... thats actually kind of rough on your life expectancy because Yasser Arafat was a friend of the United States... now he is dead... Saddam Hussein was a friend of the United States... now he is dead... Osama Bin Laden was a friend friend of the US back when the Soviets were in Afghanistan... now he is dead... Qaddafi was a friend of the US only 2 years ago... now he's dead.

Kharzi's beginning to realize that being a friend of the United States is only good for shortening his life so he is going to be friends with somebody else... and he is going to side with Pakistan... AS WILL China. Remember... Pakistan is a nuclear armed state. If the US tries to invade they are going to have to launch it with nuclear weapons to take out Pakistan's weapons. That is not going to go over very well. ONCE AGAIN the US will be the only country on earth to actually use nuclear weapons of mass destruction against another country.

Kharzi doesn't want you in Afghanistan anymore, the Afghan people don't want the US in Afghanistan anymore, the American people don't want the US to be in Afghanistan anymore... the SOLDIERS don't want the US to be in Afghanistan anymore.

This war is over and like the one in Iraq you have functionally lost this thing. Its time to call it quits. - Rivero
